- Darwin being hailed as a "great atheist".
- Portrayal of the life of Jesus as fact and the life of the Buddha as a nice story.
- Discussion of the caste system in south Asia which does not mention Dalits.
- A series of texts for pupils who experience learning difficulties called "SPECIALS!".
- A lot of patronising & exoticising portrayals of non-Abrahamic faiths.
I mean, none of these are my oppressions so I'm open to being told that I am wrong about their offensiveness; but the overall impression I get is one of squickiness and an irrational impulse to enter the teaching profession just to indoctrinate in the other direction...
