last night was truly bizarre. i got to wander around the park lane hilton in a purple ballgown, feeling all regal and shit, eating posh food off posh plates, and yet passing entirely unnoticed. i wanted not to be noticed in a way, as i hate small talk of any description (doing anything out of duty rather than out of deisre - what's the point?). and i got to wander down that staircase, using the word resplendent in my head.





have been inhumanly tired today. possibly something to do with being up til oneish with that fecking english essay. which still managed to be 500 words under. gah.

am scared that plato advocated burning books and 'mating festivals'.
