house music is not going what one might call 'well'. for those of you without a house system like ours, a simple guide that i compiled in a boring classics lesson:

eliot = slytherin - making their 1st years cry, bribing the house elves to give them lunch in the theatre so they can have longer rehearsals

franklin = gryffindor - 'the house that rocks'. cheated by the other houses - cruelly destroyed by evil eliot (hisss!) - always win through in the end. hoorah for greek choruses.

kingsley (my own house) = ravenclaw - great in theory, pie-in-the-sky plans, but nothing ever actually comes of them. full of oxbridge pupils, including 2 2/3 scholarships between the upper 6th.

baylis/hepworth/astell = hufflepuff - all the rest. do work hard, bless them.

yah. i have to choose between my ensemble being in tune OR with dynamic contrast. seems they cannot master both.

No, no, because Franklin don't actually win. And we have no Harry. And Eliot aren't attractive enough to be Slytherin. Huzzah for BS HM.

And hey, this year we're not having a Greek chorus. Hmm. See, I can do variety, too. Huzzah for cruelty.

It's allowed to have lunch in the theatre, I'm sure. We did it for HD.
