However, perhaps you will understand my squee - about both unexpected elements of this statement - when you see how he chose to calibrate the colour and aspect ratio on his new projector:
(For the 95% of you who don't get the joke; it is written into the Oxford Doctor Who Society constitution that all committee meetings must end with a close-up on Colin Baker's face. He played the 6th Doctor and episode directors did seem to have a particular fondness for ending episodes in a similar fashion. Colin Baker's Face has become something of a hysterical in-joke amongst six or seven of the loveliest people in Oxford; I'm sorry to waste everyone else's time with this post but you must understand the joy!)

Date: 2009-05-27 10:55 am (UTC)Shame it's not out on DVD yet >_< I believe it's not due out until September. Maybe we should leave that one for a bit, so as to further enjoy its FULL REMASTERED MAJESTY when the time comes. But I would *so* be up for a season 22 marathon. TWO DOCTORS JOY.
...tell you what, wait until after my birthday, and I'll ensure I have the whole of season 22 on DVD for our delectation :D
