Library School Update
Apr. 20th, 2009 05:12 pmWork for 10am, May 8th:
'Information Organisation' essay: 0/3,000 (I should consider picking a topic)
Website: Looking pretty shit. (Things that got a 'very good' on the first ungraded checkpoint got 'consider fixing' on the second. I hate this lecturer with the burning passion of a thousand suns. There's an awful lot of work involved in making the website good; very little work involved in scraping a pass. I should put the work in; I took this module because I wanted to acquire these skills, ffs! But the lack of teaching has made me so bitter that I almost don't want to bother, just to spite the lecturer. Nobody would benefit from that level of uncharacteristic bitterness - not to mention that my sense of myself as a sunny optimist would be crushed! So it might have to be that my flunking out on this module is due to crappy time management, instead of spite. Or at least, that's what I'll tell myself in retrospect. Mmm, tasty self-deception!)
'Information Society' essay: 4,500/3,000 (but needs editing so I don't sound like a fascist apologist)
'Amazonfail' essay: 10,000/4,000 (but needs editing to move 'amazonfail' to an appendix and put in additional content from the lecturer's book)
Work for 10am, September 14th:
A dissertation of implausible size.
And then I'll be free.To think about applying for a DPhil
Oh, and did I mention? Sure, I may have all this work to do yet, but lectures are over! I never have to commute to London ever again! Oh, the beautiful beautiful freedom!

Date: 2009-04-20 05:02 pm (UTC)Collections and conference next week have kicked my arse into the ground, but I have a sketchy drawing of the Famous Five in drag for you. It's extremely weird how good Dick looks in fishnets.
