Oh dear, silly me. I've written 5,000 words on library/information science in activism in which I have completely failed to mention the effect of activism on libraries.

Yes, that's right. Protesters are currently occupying part of the Bodleian library. Oh, Oxford!

If you're wanting to talk about activism in libraries then you'd need to mention activist efforts to keep local libraries from closing or restructuring. Best keep it with the Queer perspective and try not to worry. It'll be different enough to everything else that the teachers will like it and you'll get a good grade. (Also if you changed it to reflect something now it'd look like you were writing it at the last minute! You could always butter them up by posting to the discussion board and saying that you did your paper on activism and saw this which people might be interested in...)

Slightly tangientially, we had to do a risk assessment for fencing, and due to the whole Animal Lab thing going on next door, ended up putting a section in on "terrorist attack."
