no NO what?
NO NO WHAT NOT HIRO WHAT HOW NO NO
WHAT HIRO NO HIRO NO
And that's all I had to say about that. Except that I finished watching the episode while on a London bus. Ahh, I live in the future.
I should probably read some Judith Butler, and beg intellectual forgiveness. I realised this week that I'd been unfairly avoiding reading her because I'd been confusing her with Julie Bindel. Who I had, in turn, been confusing with Julie Burchill, writer of Sugar Rush. What's with all the HQ JB's? For the record: Bindel's the only outspoken transphobe amongst them.
ETA: Oh man, I'm sorry, clearly spnding last night in the pub with a bunch of lesbrarians has affected my ability to communicate effectively. "HQ", the adjective I just used to describe Judith Butler and the Julies Burchill & Bindel, is the Library of Congress classification for sexuality - the family - feminism - queer theory. *librarian-geek-shame*
