Jun. 1st, 2008 07:38 pmI just watched "Queen of the Damned" entirely for the Paul McGann content, and got assaulted by a brilliant soundtrack and more homoerotic goths than I knew what to do with. It wasn't supposed to be any good, dammit! And now this. For which I have no words.

If you thought about how jerky and non-fluid Akasha's movements would have to be after 5K years of sitting still, and then put that kind of muscle stiffness onto a belly-dancer, I bet it would look just like that.
On the one hand, I don't think the actress was doing that on purpose. On the other hand, it was absolutely perfect for the character.
Also, yes. Pretty, ambiguous men.
