Have some Torchwood fic. It's all PG, but don't let that put you off.

Trying to Communicate
Delightful crack. Especially of interest to [livejournal.com profile] deepbluemermaid, and others who were at last term's [livejournal.com profile] ou3fs writing challenge, but lots of fun for anyone with a passing interest in certain internet phenomena.

Lazarus and the Lady
A series of ficlets. Nice characterisation, and a fair amount of Emma-service. Especially of interest to Who-geeks who, like me, have recently been pondering the possibilities of [livejournal.com profile] girl_doctor. Also good for Tosh-fans.

(I've taken some of your advice, and ignored some of it; I've emailed the chap who would be my line manager if I got the job, and await his reply with wibbly uselessness. I'm also looking into possibilities for accommodation next year. I'd swear I've only just moved in to [livejournal.com profile] pridehouse - it seems like madness to be leaving again so soon! Don't suppose anyone's looking for a room in Oxford just for May-July, by any chance?)

Heee, yay for [livejournal.com profile] girl_doctor! I'm still very fond of her, and I would like to go back. In fact, I'd be up for a prompt, if you wanted something specific.

disclaimer: I'm not very well-versed in [livejournal.com profile] girl_doctor canon, so much of this may already exist, but this is what has occured to me:

some [livejournal.com profile] girl_doctor/master interaction (not necessarily slashy) would be joyous to read. indeed, any [livejournal.com profile] girl_doctor involving other Time Lords, Gallifrey, meeting previous regenerations, etc... all the kinds of crack I'm enjoying in DW canon at the moment.

I'd also be interested to see anything that the Doctor just could not do in male form (w/out convincing drag, I suppose). How she experiences and interacts with the world differently.

*grins* She has never met the Master, as far as I know. Will think about that one. She has met some of her previous regenerations (http://loneraven.livejournal.com/442334.html); she also discovered being objectified (http://loneraven.livejournal.com/447843.html).

Female Doctor

I'm warming to the idea that the Doctor has a mild Ranma 1/2 affliction, in which hot water brings out his feminine side. This is based on tenuous observations from the two stories in which he has been observed taking a shower:

* Spearhead From Space: He successfully impersonates a cleaning lady.

* New Earth: He successfully impersonates Cassandra. (The idea that Cassandra had actually possessed him without the aid of all that brain transfer machinery is preposterous, regardless of any implications made by the CGI.)

I find your ideas intriguing and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

From now on, I'm going to be watching extra-closely whenever the Doctor comes into contact with water...

7th got a dunking in "Silver Nemesis", in the typical slapstick style of the era, but otherwise was careful around water, to the extent of keeping that umbrella with him at all times. And 4th nearly drowned once, but that was in the Matrix.

I blame this idea on encountering, in quick succession, one of the many strange threads in the [livejournal.com profile] thistimeround archive (http://www.ttrarchive.com/) (in which cold water turns Nyssa into a barbarian), and the Big Finish Audio "Exile" (featuring Arabella "does my TARDIS look big in this?" Weir as the Doctor).
