Surprise, surprise.

Interview went well. I managed to keep a straight face and maintain eye contact when answering the question, "what would you do if someone you were supervising was spending all day on social netowrking sites?", and I totally aced the shelving test. My presentation was mediocre, but then so is the British Library Catalogue. If I don't get the job, it'll be because there was someone who was honestly better than me - not because I messed up in any way.

Are you looking forward to or cringing in terror from the upcoming Colour of Magic adaptation on Sky? What did you think of the Hogfather one.

Cringing, but only because I don't really like CoM. Hogfather entertained, but in general I'd rather read Pratchett than see any kind of adaptation.

According to teh quiz I'm Carrot but only with 69% and then Granny and the Librarian (with 63%). I object to this test as it doesn't include any of the many Pratchett Duchesses that I'm ususally compared to. (That's a point just how many Duchesses are there in the Pratchett canon, or are Lady Sybil and Susan the only ones I have left to play?)
