Ok, so I may be the only person in the known universe to whom the following sounds attractive:

On Friday, from 7pm, we are meeting in the St. John's Video Room to watch the ENTIRITY of The Trial of a Time Lord. I'll I have a bottle of vodka and a list of rules sitting beside me to get through it myself. Prepare for an evening of dodgy companions, dodgy companion death, Brian Blessed, Colin Baker, the Valliard, and much more.

But I've never seen any Colin Baker and I'd like to be able to make up my own mind. Even though the Wikipedia description tells me it has Mel in and she makes me want to remove my own eyeballs with a rusty spoon.

Anyway, I'm not expecting any of you to come with me (although it would be lovely, wouldn't it? Just me then..) but does anybody want to get noodles beforehand? Say, 6pm at noodlebar?

Well it has got the Valeyard, right?

Some Colin Baker stories were okay. The people who object to it are people who think the Doctor should be exactly what they want. They obeject to every thing since 2005 as well. The rest just have a laugh and have fun.

I like colin baker and I like the trial of a timelord too. Its not his best but the docctor's banter with the Valliard is most amusing at times. the stories were occasionally a bit weak but I personally thought it was excellent to have the entire series as a single story in a way, tying it all together more than separate stories would. Its certainyl worth watching just for that different approach.

And yes, I agree with you about mel. I think its only the last of the stories that has her in though.

P.S. I should also add that I'm busy tonight so couldn't come along anyway. And certainly can't make it to noodles.

Have fun though. :)

Wow...I don't think I've ever seen someone use three verbs in a row before, even in LOLcat. My brain hurts!
