I understand that it is unpleasant to have to read books about Enoch Powell. I understand that his ideas may evoke in you feelings of revulsion and disgust. However, this is not an acceptable reason to return them to us with the words "I dropped this in the toilet". After handing it over to a member of staff. Eww. Just. No.

i think it really depends on whether they dropped it before or after they flushed! toilets are generally much more hygienic than most student rooms because they get, well, cleaned...
