RTD using every idea in the episode twice, eg bad guys in biker gear & helmets, weapons made from scanners - to be expected.

Heeh! You could tell they spent half the budget on the NRs because of the number of shots of their marching feet -- "Damn it, we paid for those boots, we're damned well going to use them!"

The "I had a cousin" was unnecessary, but OTOH, how pressuring must it be to make a show where the target demographic is geeks? Because you *know* they're noticing every little detail. Must be a terrifying prospect if you want to do something like re-use an actress.

Took me a while to get what you meant by "Oscar's college." D'oh.
