people commenting on my budget woes have made a very good point - why do I keep going out to drink?

it would make an awful lot more sense to stay in and drink. cheaper, more congenial surroundings, no-one to cut off the booze-flow at an arbitary temporal point.

so how about it? as a tentative suggestion, I put forward my room, Tuesday night, and 8pm. how does this suit people? if it became a concrete arrangement, would you come?

Ummm... Possibly. I would like to see people but with impending best man speech to be given and much work still needing doing it will very much depend on how stressed I feel tomorrow. :)

Aargh - echoing the others above, I would love to, just not *this* Tuesday, as I'll be in Deepest Barton watching Lord of the Rings with a pack of geeky grad students.
