Oh, fandom. Never change. It's half a week since the show aired and already there's excellent fix-it fic for Sherlock 2x01.

One day, I'd like to have a favourite show that doesn't require fix-its. :(

-1 for Estuary Urdu -- what is that meant to be?

I had taken it to mean "Estuary accented" - ie that Sherlock had learnt his Urdu in London - but I don't know if that actually makes sense?

Ah, that's a reading that didn't occur to me -- my experience of the phrase "Estuary English" is that it's a native dialect, whereas a London accent when speaking Urdu would be a "foreign" accent.

Minor quibble, anyhow -- just a slightly odd juxtaposition of words that stuck in my head.

Yeah, ok, you got me to read fic. And it was good.

Though, honestly, I think it's biased towards 'he must have some sort of humanity', i think more realistically, he just wouldn't have shown up.
