ashley and i have grown up into listers. we are happy. we will always be there for the people we care about. not nice to them; we'll call them slags and smegheads. but if something matters, we're there.

and the curry stains on our shirts and the kebab boxes on the floor? we're happy. and drunk. and healing. thank you for your dvds, lizziwig!

do you mean film, or comic books? because although i'd seen the filme when younger, and was vaguely aware of her as a cutural concept, i'd never have read the graphic novels if it weren't for ashley. although it's set in australia, it's british-originated.. is it so odd that i'd know it?

although, i do admit, i do rock incredibly hard. a whole bottle of wine's worth, in fact...

They're perfect for each other, which is why they would never stick as a couple. Tank girl would get bored and then try to blow Lister up by tying dynamite to his overgrown toenails.

The thing I like best about Lister is how in The End he makes sure to call after Rimmer and wish him good luck for the exam, despite being half asleep and taking the piss the week before. Lister is one of my all time heroes. Also, did anybody else get the pun Lister- listing, aimlessly difting (space)ship?
