do you want a cat? do you know someone who might? we'd rather he went to someone known. average/small black & white boycat, neutered, house-trained & vaccinated, 18 months old. pick-up from headington, or will deliver anywhere within the ring road.
Possibly, actually. Will talk to penguin_worship about it. Was going to get kittens at some point, because - y'know, KITTENS! But worth a thought. The back door has already got a cat-flap, and there's the huge stretch of graveyard for him to prowl in, once he gets used to the nieghbourhood.
Would he travel to the seaside, or do you think he'd try to launch an intrepid cross country return mission?
Certainly a possibility. What is he like with other cats? (theres several on the street, and as D said we hope to get a kitten at some point...). Thinking about it. Would welcome your thoughts on the travelling side.
There's a good few other cats around here, including two kittens next door, and he seems to get on with them quite well.
As for travelling... He came down from Nottingham via train, /tube/, and coach without a problem, how were you thinking of taking him? He has a cat basket, so that's not an issue.
I WANT A CAT!!!!!! :( but obv. i can't because college don't allow pets and my scout is nosy. and my mum dislikes animals that require feeding more than once a week/don't eat grass. but i want it..... :(
..except no, because unfortunately I don't think the college would let me have a cat or put a cat flap in my door, and I don't know many of the other residents of my staircase (slasheuse: what do you think? We could have a staircase cat...) and so I probably can't have a cat...
Seriously? Yes please. I've been meaning to get a kitten all summer but haven't been sure about vaccinations and things, so having a cat who'd already grown up a bit would be really ideal... and he's BEAUTIFUL. I'd be truly honoured to give him a home. what's his name?
Picking up might be tricky - I'm in London and lack a car. I suppose glamwhorebunni goes to Oxford a lot, but I wouldn't want to subject the puss to a train journey. I'll talk to my housemates and get back to you just to check it's practical. But oh, I'd love him :)
Fully agreed. If D & L don't go for him, we'd love him.
We've been calling our house CatCave in anticipation of getting a cat, and we're all ready for one and keen. Got a cat flap and everything.
So. I'll be in Oxford next weekend (Larp Saturday, Wychwood Warriors Sunday) and could take him Sunday evening, if you think he could cope with the bus/tube combo on the way home... You say he's done a tube/train/coach before, so hopefully he'd be ok.
Y'know, I thought I'd have a really hard time finding a decent home for him, now I'm swamped with offers!
I'm so sorry, but Penguin and Flannelcat replied first, so I've said they can take him... thanks so much for the offer, though, and if they fall through, or don't get on with him, I'll be sure to give you a shout!
Oh oh oh. I want a cat. But I live in London, and am not allowed one in my flat, though poss Toni would be allowed one, but she still lives in London.
But, oh, he is gorgeous, and I didn't realise how much I miss having a cat until now *engages in small stereotypical lesbian fantasy about moving in with girlfriend and getting a cat together*
i was randomly browsing around lj, and saw you posting in a community (can't remember the name; is was linked from a fandom wank (http://www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/))- just thought you had the most gorgeous icons. shallow, i know, but show me a gorgeous curvy girl in a corset and wings, and that's enough to make me click. i friended you when i saw how much your interests matched my own. i meant to go back & comment on your friends-only entry when i had more time, but i forgot, sorry. i'd love to read your entries!

We could name him something. Which room are you in, by the way? Are we even allowed GOLDFISH? Nick, we should totally co-parent some goldfish.
