Back in the Radcliffe Science Library. Ahh. I remember this thing, this "degree" that I'm supposed to be working for.
Even though walking into Oxford from the station is odd and wrong and not Oxford at all, gods did it feel good to be back. I mean, I was only on that stationary train outside Peterborough for two hours... (Did anyone, in fact, have a simple and worry-free journey home from Edinburgh?)
So happy.

And my journey home was pretty trouble-free: the three hours of flat-cleaning that preceded it, however, were less than entirely enjoyable.

Date: 2006-09-02 04:26 pm (UTC)Got to the station too early by over an hour, and froze for the interveaning time, but had a reserved seat so all was joyous.
Some train or other was cancelled in Newcastle meaning the train was packed, and I could feel superior in my reserved seat of joy.
Train was 10 to 20 minutes late, but I didn't care as my uncle didn't arrive at the station until about five minutes after me!
Then lovely journey to a house where I had a bed - mmmmmm.
Still don't get home for about a week though - I MISS MY COMPUTER... (plus all the Edinburgh peeps).
