Wow, so that was me on the radio!

I love how utterly clueless & contemptuous the DJ was... "be prepared: it's pretty wacky stuff!" .. "if you're wondering what all that noise was about" .. she clearly thought that Pratchett was a minor cult obsession amongst teenage freaks and geeks... she did google him briefly before interviewing the director but I don't think she really understood the phenomenon.

I'm afraid I had a bit of a flip-out at the last minute, realising that the party was being held at a swanky cocktail bar in north oxford when I hate swanky, I hate cocktail bars, and I hate north oxford.

so instead i spent the evening in a park with ashley looking at the stars.

Eh, not much. chains_of_irony and the Narrator drinking very scary drinks, pink_ferret and castophrenia looking beyond gorgeous, me melting down over the Bitch Review Of Death and being revived with strawberry sorbet and talk of Why J.K. Rowling Is An Idiot, the Duke getting into staring contests with everyone, and lots of bad photos being taken.

I think someone should maybe have reminded the OxStu writer that the traditional function of theatre reviewers was to concentrate on the quality of the production, rather than Why I Hate Pratchett And Shall Spend 300 Words Going On About That Instead...
