Living for the good times is a kind of self-explanatory philosophy because, after all, good times are unarguably good. and that's what this weekend has been; parading through London, confusing pedestrians who try to make way for the couple by being a three; brighton and beautiful people and drumming and debauchery; lazy mornings which turn into afternoons with pratchett and poets and pretty people; blissful coach journeys back to the place i love the most, curled up under fur with the two people who make me happiest.

I'd forgotten, however, through being ill and not having had many good times in a while, why living for the good times is so very, very effective. Because it motivates me. Motivates me to get out of the arms of pretty people and into libraries, to clear the gunk out of the bottom of the fridge, to respond to unpleasant e-mails as soon as I receive them... to do all the things which mean I get to have even more good times in the future.

yes! but when? please, after my exams of doom... to see me in the pratchett play? that's the week of the teens of may. i only have this beautiful house until the end of june and you must come and stay in it, you must!

teens of may is possibly just before my exams (last year they were from the 23rd onwards)... tho' there is a possibility, in another world, that i'll just hardcore all my revision beforehand...however after my exams (ie when you came to see me last year) i'll be free-ish bc my next play's not 'til august... maybe then?

also THANKEE for the card - only got it t'other day as i have had no life and haven't been into college for seven years. twas lovely and am writing reply...

beginning of june, then? my term goes until june 17th, so you'd meet a lot more cool people if you came before then.
