Mar. 13th, 2006 09:19 pmLiving for the good times is a kind of self-explanatory philosophy because, after all, good times are unarguably good. and that's what this weekend has been; parading through London, confusing pedestrians who try to make way for the couple by being a three; brighton and beautiful people and drumming and debauchery; lazy mornings which turn into afternoons with pratchett and poets and pretty people; blissful coach journeys back to the place i love the most, curled up under fur with the two people who make me happiest.
I'd forgotten, however, through being ill and not having had many good times in a while, why living for the good times is so very, very effective. Because it motivates me. Motivates me to get out of the arms of pretty people and into libraries, to clear the gunk out of the bottom of the fridge, to respond to unpleasant e-mails as soon as I receive them... to do all the things which mean I get to have even more good times in the future.
