I have not consumpted. I have sung no arias, propositioned no flag captains, criticised no wallpaper.

I. Aten't. Dead.

And I'm coming back to town today. I'd say, "everyone to the pub to celebrate my return!" but I feel that would rather defeat the object of coming back and taking it easy.

Also, please to be filling me in on any vital things I may have missed in my week away, eg, any almost-armageddons, mysterious trolley thefts, or pro-animal-lab marches?

Excellent! Return of the Emma! We've missed you darling, will you be coming to our invasion of the pitt-rivers today, or would that also defeat the taking it easy agenda???

And also yey! and joy and other squeeful things, because seeing you isn't just incidental and I've been told off for being too brusk in LJ comments a couple of times this year.
Love you!

Pro-Test march on the 25th, it seems.

I'm starting the push for Orange Ribbons for people to wear as a passive sign of protest :-) It'd be nice if it caught on.

ooh yes, i've heard about that Pro-Test march. (do i lose cool points if i say "through oxford gossip"?)

I like the orange ribbon idea, and I guess people connected with the university won't be too scared to get involved now we've been told we're all legitimate targets anyway. mmm, terrorism.

Hurrah! Pass it on, wearing the ribbon would be good if we could get it to work.

And how else do people find thing out other than by Oxford gossip!?

Has anybody thought of having a protest against pointless protesting?
I now have this crazy idea to have a picnic in the middle of broad street or wherever all the protests are happening. a real protest picnic with a flask of tea and paper plates and party rings and little sausages.
can we can we can we?
xx

Funny thing, I actually discussed that very same idea this morning. Though more in the context of the thing that will upset the AR Nutters more than anything is us going there and being nice...

Jon and I were discussing having a protest against protesting. Or maybe putting up a banner denouncing banners. Something like that.

They say some horrible personal things about the poor chap on the SPEAK website, it made me quite ill all that happened to him.
