Dec. 20th, 2005 07:05 pmthe world just keeps giving.
a cashpoint in camden gave me £20; my boss wasn't in on the day that i was half an hour late for work; i've generated a hot character for horizon (yes, i'm doing rpg. yes, i know that makes me the worst kind of geek. no, i don't care); laurie just cooked me the most amazing meal after a hard day at work; all that's missing is all those silly people who went away (a year and a half ago when i left forest; a month ago at the end of oxford term; right up to the last few days).
a few notices:
= laurie's computer has died. duncan is here right now trying to fix it, but she apologises for her online absence.
= thanks to those of you who have sent me christmas cards! please don't feel slighted when you don't recieve one in return; i am not doing cards at all this year. love you all boundlessly, of course, with or without paper reinforcement of this fact.

Date: 2005-12-20 08:04 pm (UTC)Great to hear your life is going so well. I'm feeling happy, but sadly my life is being significantly less interesting that yours right now.
Merry Christmas - I'll be missing you and Laurie.
Neil.

Date: 2005-12-20 09:59 pm (UTC)Daughter of Richard and Lucille D'Argent, nobles of some power in the land of Torrsaire, an outlying province of Lasinia. Older sister of Leon D'Argent (played by ashley) with whom she shares an incestuous relationship. Brought up with all the vice and debauchery entailed by being tied to the cult of Versinya, spoilt rotten by indulgent but inconsistent and incompetent parents, she is easy-going in the face of everything except boredom. Only mildly put-out by the revolution which destroyed her lifestyle and her parents, she has adjusted well to being mistress of the Red Star inn, a burlesque house/gambling pit/opium den frequented by revolutionaries that she co-owns with Leon. Leon is using this enterprise as a front for his plans to get revenge on the revolutionaries and ressurect Versinya; Cecile pays these causes lip service for his sake, but in reality cares little for them. She is easily bored, but not cynical or jaded; like a child she wants to be entertained all the time and doesn't understand why she can't always be the centre of attention. She thinks that she is oh-so-clever and manipulative because she occasionally blackmails people or sleeps with them to get her own way; but actually she's just a shameless hedonist, a squandering drug-addict, and an (unreliable) friend to everyone except those who get in the way of her doing exactly what she wants."
