12 hours in a theatre today on 3 hours sleep. i miss human beings.
however, as i'm feeling inhuman i shall act inhumanely:

Hedwig & The Angry Inch, at the OFS Theatre, 7.30pm Tuesday 29th November - Saturday 3rd December
I'm production managing this, which is amusing.
Dick Whittington, at the Moser Theatre in Wadham College, 7.30pm Tuesday 29th November - Thursday 1st December
everyone knows that pantomime villains are more fun to play than the heroes.
ETA: Ten things that make me happy:
1. feeling like I am contributing to something worthwhile - like doing menial run-around odd-jobs for a production of my favourite musical.
2. when other people quote Oscar Wilde without attributing and just assume that I will know.
3. infatuation that modulates into friendship.
4. being in a warm bed, wrapped in fake fur, with a good book and knowing that i have no essay deadlines in the near future.
5. being found attractive. by anyone, ever, even horrible lecherous 50-yr-old men.
6. those who cross-dress effectively.
7. being laced into a handbell shape in my corset.
8. wearing stockings and suspenders and giggling to myself about the fact that nobody knows.
9. connecting with somebody else, even for the briefest of fleeting moments.
10. boobies!

3) I want to buy a corset with money I'll get for Christmas. A proper one that I can lace tight enough to faint if I so choose. I thought I should ask your advice on where is the best place to look for one.

Try everything on in the beautiful surroundings of fairygothmother (http://fairygothmother.co.uk/), but then probably end up somewhere like pink fluffy (http://www.pink-fluffy.com/) for the actual purchase because they sell most of the same corsets but in dingier surroundings and for lower prices.
i can see something like this (http://fairygothmother.co.uk/v1104.htm) or this (http://fairygothmother.co.uk/70-2055lace.htm) looking good on you. vollers are an excellent corsetmaker (not the best in the world, but the best i can afford; both my corsets have been from them) and their website is here (http://www.vollerscorset.co.uk/).
Laurie and I were planning a Camden trip at some point in December... you must come with us and corset-shop!
