I once had..stuff stolen from my wallet, but the person left the wallet behind. I was rather happy that they did, since I didn't mind the £20 or so that they ran off with. I did mind my keys and stuff. :).

that sucks, it's probally someone who works there... down on their luck, you should track them down, and leave creepy messages till they go insane with guilt and confess.
