Jun. 21st, 2005 01:35 pmSo I just met the guy who's directing Hedwig next term. He pushed our meeting back by half an hour because HE WAS SITTING ON A BENCH IN THE BOTANIC GARDENS AT NOON ON MIDSUMMER DAY. We discussed Philip Pullman, Harry Potter 6 (he's a midnight whore too), Bowie, Placebo, Velvet Goldmine... he's a fangirl. Who fangirls exactly that which I fangirl. I called him a fangirl, to his face, by accident. And got away with it.
He knows that I have no experience. He still wants me to Production Manage. But he's leting me audition too, he knows that I act, sing, and play drums.
I've also been asked, at the last minute, to perform with Burlesk at the St Cross Ball. And they don't even care that all my costume is in London! They have my corset, and that's all that counts, after all.
(Possibly no internet acess until Saturday, I'm going to Durham to see Narayani's play.)
