just so that everyone knows, the internet in wadham is playing silly buggers, and i can't currently get any connection in my room. but that meant that i finally had to stop e-mailing essays to myself to print, and learn how to use my USB port thingymajig. it's quite a lot easier, actually.

hey, life without constant internet-based distraction... who knows, i might actually get something productive done, like typing up the last 3 weeks' worth of ou3fs minutes, writing some more of The Fic that I'm writing half as a challenge from ninepointfive and half to prove to a few people that my ff.net stuff is two years old, and so not as good from a literary point of view or a kinkual one as the stuff i am writing today, which I tend not to publish. (although i still use words like kinkual so clearly, i'm still not so very literary)

keep next Monday night free, oxford-based Flist members. There is going to be an invatation that you will be unable to refuse.

Just give me a good reason to give my mother (not "I know a lesbian off the internet and I'm sort of making her my role-model and what I'd quite like to do is drive to Oxford on a schoolnight to see her and some friends strip, cross-dress, romp and generally do Everything Which Is Legal On A Stage", because I don't think even the magic words "She's at Oxford" are going to save me on that one), and I shall be debauching with the best of them.

ahh, practicalities, practicalities...

if i can, i'll get someone to take pictures, and post them. and then i'll gatecrash the oxfordljmassive meeting at burlesque in the summer.

we're performing every monday until the end of term, and if you live near london or cambridge you can get very cheap coaches on megabus.com.

but i shouldn't be encouraging you. as a role-model, i should be saying things like "stay home and revise, and then you'll be able to come every week next year".

How much do Wadham charge for an internet connection? And do most / virtually all of the rooms have an ethernet connection?

every room in college has free 24/7 ethernet internet. and normally, it works.
