kate's still staying, and laurie's just left after a joyous couple of days with gormenghast and camden-shopping. oh, londoners that know not the joys of camden: go now, before they finish the shopping mall they're building and it becomes unbearably mundane.

kate's curled up upstairs, 12 hours' sleep and counting, poor ill little thing. i am going to go and make her tea, and dose her up with cough syrup.

no, no, they really are buidling a shopping mall. they've knocked down some of the market and are building a glass high street style monstrosity.

Well I was going to say that I bet the prices in the new mall will be disgustingly extortionate, but then I remembered how expensive Camden is anyway.

The best bits nowadays are the arts and crafts building and the retro section.
