things in my room:

5 green carnations in a lacquered brass vase; yes! 5 actual real-life green carnations.
sandalwood incense burning, which inexplicably makes the room smell like salami.
3 cartoons of fruit juice, half finished.
dungeons & dragons DVD - the. worst. film. ever.
a pair of fairy wings wearing red & black hotpant-shaped knickers with red laces up the side.

there are enough oscar wilde fans on my flist; enough to understand how wonderful it is that anyone would bring me green carnations.

this weekend has been wonderful. possibly more wonderful than i can say without sounding like a bad pop song. so i shall refrain, and say simply: green carnations.

well, the point at the time was that they weren't real... white carnations painted green was a comment on how art improves upon nature, or some such.

however, nobody seems to have bothered to tell that to the florist in banbury!

how did they get you green carnations! i am drinking tea and envying you. the oscar love rainbow is delicious.

oh by the way. Stephen Fry is in Tom Brown asometime around christmas on BBC.. vague i know but i read it in Marie Claire.
