sebastiennewow. i don't think i ever literally had to sing for my supper before.
and that is exactly what wadham chapel choir entails: a couple of hours of rehearsing, followed by a service, followed by free food and wine. as you can probably tell from this entry, i have been freely partaking of both!
and i actually had some conversations with some real people who appeared to have personalities. it was very refreshing, i must say.
i also met a divine eccentric. she is what i want to be. she was wearing all velvet, and a purple hat with a peacock feather in it. she was an undergrad at wadham and is now a grad student, studying european literature. she was insane and entirely her own person. i want to be her.
