who would have thought that one's room could harbour so much shit? three bin bags of paper to recycle, a bin bag of clothes to take to the charity shop... and still my room is full of crap. i never knew i was such a hoarder, until i found myself thinking 'but this bit of card which came in a packet of knickers 5 years ago might come in really useful one day...'

did anybody else with access to uk terrestrial tv see 'Dirty Filthy Love' on ITV the other night? the film about OCD with michael sheen (robbie ross in wilde; miles from bright young things) and the girl who played moaning myrtle in HP2? i thought it was one of the best things i'd seen on telly. i really don't watch tv all that much, but programmes like this one make it worth paying the licence fee. despite the fact that my parents pay the licence fee, and this prog was on commercial telly anyway, not the BBC.

you just wait 'til i get to uni, flist. then my entries will stop being sporadic and rather dull. because then i will be living the life i have spent 18 years waiting for.

well not quite, because i'm arriving on sunday... but i will be seeing you soon.

i'm having a hard enough time condensing all my belongings enough to fit them into these 5 crates that will fit into my parents' car - i can't imagine what it's like trying to meet the weight limits etc for a plane flight!

Tell me about it! The worst thing is, you start to clear things out of your room in boxes, and turn round to see that it hasn't really made a difference and it never seems like the room is getting emptier!
