this evening, i watched a video made by my primary school in 1997. it consisted of a series of interviews with all the leavers. i was surprised, to say the least, by how much 11-year-old emma really seemed to have it sorted: i gave my reasons for wanted to go to forest as 1) it has a massive theatre, and i really like drama, and, 2) it's an all-girls school, and i don't like boys.

i summed it all up for myself at age 11 - do like drama, don't like boys.

funny, then, how it took me six or seven years more to actually figure that out for myself!

i didn't like boys either. i found females much more fun to play with :) that's why i went to an all girls school.

and because the history teachers were fab :D
