so i got the barracudas job, which is going to be so cool - hanging out in a field with a load of kids all summer, playing games, and getting paid for it.

went into school yesterday, started talking to briony, the unecessarily pretty redhead girl in the year below me. turns out she used lines from my poem in her art exam! i was really flattered by this, esp. as the art in question was all anti-capitalist, anti-globalisation, uncle sam saying 'you need me!' on an american flag made out of dollar bills :)

i have been v. proud of myself, doing an inhuman amount of revision. but today i have become a bit disillusioned, and can't really be bothered. arg, effort.
