firstly, i was reading harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban last night. and i found a j k huysmans reference. unlikely? well, JKR (look! look! i used capitals in my journal!) did study french at university. what do you think?: p.48, uk edition: 'A gigantic tortoise with a jewel-encrusted shell was glittering near the window.'

on saturday night, after evanescence (yay! woo!) gatty & i were looking up jonathan & david in the bible (as one does, obviously). some quotations for the gay-marriage bashers:

yes, the facial hair really isn't working for me. and i always imagined sirius being taller than lupin, not the other way around. but i'm beginning to think i can forgive these details and enjoy what is going to be the best HP movie yet!

Yes it is very silly having a tall Remus. However, it does mean that when Sirius is asleep with his shirt open, Remy curls up in a ball with his head on the Azkaban tattoo on Sirius' chest so that he isn't troubled by in the night. Yes we decided that it's an Azkaban brand. And, like in bad everyone-needs-to-have-sex-with-Draco-fic, it only feels ok when Remy is sleeping on it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA HE HAS TO BEND DOWN FOR THE BROTHERLY HUG HAHAHAHA.

I set that picture as the desktop on Aliche's computer. Many childish MUWHAS. Where were you at lunch today, hm? It was great and you MISSED IT FOR THE SAKE OF WHAT, HM? THE CHILDREN? THEN CHILDREN?

I have corset. INSANE GIGGLE. I have baby corset. I have baby purple corset and black tulle. I have no work. MWHAHAHAHAHA.

OMG with the sleeping thing. of course, that has nothing to do with remus' height really, but it IS perfect.

I always though of Sirius as being taller too...and although I kind of like them, what's with the scars? They're really just...not canon.
