Mar. 25th, 2004 11:46 amso, as the astute amongst you (read: able to tell the time) may have noticed, i'm not in school today. there's a massive messiah rehearsal all afternoon and i haven't done my essay on victorian society so there didn't seem much point. i'm working on my french coursework... by updating my lj...
i beat yasmine (genius girl who always gets 100%) in a surprise physics test. but then i always knew i could do sceince subjects. that's why i took mostly arts, isn't it, for the challenge and intellectual freedom? (intellectual freedom in a-levels, HAH!)
'kathy i'm lost' i said though i knew she was sleeping
i'm empty and aching and i don't know why
my mum got a job at school! not only does this mean she gets paid more, it also means she gets a reduction off the fees... which means my sister can stay at forest through the sixth form! maybe she can even take up bassoon lessons. everything is working out so well for my mum, this job is perfect for her. and we don't have to take rachel's fees out of my university money any more!
just so that this entry is not unadulterated happiness (for i am most certainly not that): vdb told me, yesterday, that he did not have my english coursework essay. that was all finished with forever ago! now the deadline is friday and i'm supposed to find the last marked copy he gave back to me - this was all before christmas! it's his fault for not mentioning it until yesterday, i know, but i can't help feeling like i ought to have realised.
