sebastiennesince people left at lunchtime left today i have mostly been:
- contemplating the meaningless void which lies at the centre of everything.
- realising that i am entirely gay apart from johnny depp, jonathan rhys meyers, jude law and brian molko. yes, i know, all the men who are so effeminate they may as well be women.
- coming to terms with my middle-class mediocrity which, for all my pretensions, is actually a part of me i cannot bloody well shake. i have accepted that i will never be a great writer, thinker, actor, etc. i will work in an office all my life, and sit at home watching hedwig and wilde with my cats & a bottle of wine.
- shipping my friends, being careful to leave myself out.
- crying some over the general absurdity of everything, fighting my own personal fight against nihilism.
- listening to insanely pretty music grace à prisstina.
yes, last night i lost several virginities. i feel i am now a fully adult woman.
1. i saw two boys of my aquaintance kissing (each other)
2. i drank absinthe
3. i had camp simon naked in my bed
oh sure, it was a beautiful night. and i couldn't have celebrated my 18th in any other way.
