- wadham have offered me an interview. already. when i wasn't meant to know 'til 10/12. that's gotta bode well.
so why does it all feel so empty? i have everything i ever wanted - a group of people i love to come to the 'late night double feature picture show' with me, and a vision of oxbridge glory ahead of me. i wanted this.
i guess; marilyn manson was empty. oscar wilde said 'those who look beyond the surface do so at their peril'. he claimed this was because his art was all surface; but of course, he meant that his hidden barbs and dark currents of ideas were dangerous. manson brings the darkness to the surface, and turns himself into self-parody. and anybody who seriously thinks they can get away with a lyric as original as: 'i've got an F and a C and i've got a K too, and the only thing that's missing is a bitch like you' is really gonna be pushing it to act as a serious heavy rock musician live. and, in mOBSCENE, i might as well have played the record and gotten my friends to do a kickline for me. disappointing.

but he put on a pretty good show when i saw him. the crowd was lame though, hardly moved.

And in the mean time, it does give you an excuse to eat copius amounts of chocolate. :D Art thou muchly busy this weekend? I have to go to Camden to buy some bits of a suit for maleness in Drama - we could together and mooch and eat noodles, then go home and watch silly films - I have cheerleader back, yay! - I'm not in school monday, so I could go back to yours, and not be murderd for staying out late on a school night. Whaddaya think? Also - which showing of Rocky are we planning to see? And how much costumeness? Yes.

When was the last time the lots of us got together? I mean, went out somewhere. It's been four weeks since we were all together, but many longer since we've all gone out. *misses the holls* Wasn't that just the best holliday? I saw so much of you guys, and we'd only just met... ah it makes me all happy to think about it.
*jumps like a jummpy thing* No more fun holls for me, revising for mocks this christmass, then the real thing then it'll be summer again. Oh, but it will be an uber long holliday because of study leave. Except not for Amber and Bridie. Ha. I mock.
