we know for certain that David exists.
David has cooler clothes.
David doesn't smite sinners; he makes them part of his band.
if you hear God's voice in your head, you're probably crazy.
if you hear Bowie's voice in your head, you may be crazy, but at least you have something to sing along to.
David gets naked on film. God won't even appear on film.(except in monty python and the holy grail. but it wasn't God directly, it was a terry gilliam animation. so that only sort of counts. and God certainly wasn't naked.)
God couldn't tease his hair that high, even during the 80's.
God has Gabriel. David has Reeves Gabrels. Reeves plays better guitar.
David has better shoes.
David is richer.
David is still attractive.
God probably looks like mick jagger or keith richards by now.
at a Bowie concert, if you throw panties onstage, you get a grin from David.
...and he might even try the panties on!
at church, if you throw panties onstage, you get kicked out.
God doesn't paint his toenails.
David looks better in a dress.
God doesn't do autographs.
people don't corner you at malls to tell you that "Bowie loves you."
