sebastienneMaybe it's just the luxurious lie-in I've had, but I'm feeling pretty positive about the world this morning.
I won't link to the article as it's on the Daily Fail website, but even RICHARD LITTLEJOHN is using gay imagery in a positive way, calling it welcome! It may be in the context of saying "Labour is even worse than teh gays" but it doesn't read that way, somehow. It sounds like we might, one day, win this battle-for-hearts-and-minds.
"In this Brokeback Mountain-style love-in, Dave as Heath Ledger and Nick as Jake Gyllenhaal have saddled up for the long haul.
The sight of Cameron and Clegg staring fondly into each other's eyes stands in welcome contrast to the ghastly, self-serving politics of venality, resentment, hatred and mendacity honed and prosecuted by Gordon Brown."
And, yes, Lashings of Ginger Beer Time is going exceedingly well. I just logged into the bookings account to find that someone who came last night (not a friend of anyone in the cast - a total stranger) has booked to come again a second time tonight! If that's not evidence of us being TOTALLY AWESOME then I don't know what is.
