sebastienneFriday at Library School wasn't quite as inspiring as Monday. Some choice quotations:
"because we aren't as a species usually telepathic"
"just read something .. doesn't matter what"
"in the first world war - before mobile phones"
"the band are named after the archduke - not the other way round"
I'm slightly intimidated by the concept of a twenty person group presentation, where my mark will depend on the amount of effort put in by nineteen other people. But I can do research methods / philosophy of science standing on my head, and hold out hope for being in the group who are tackling homeopathy.
And I'm working 3 days/week in one job. And my old job wants me back to work weekends. And Library School is two days a week. And I do need the money...
