Apr. 6th, 2008 12:49 pmOxford, what the hell? You are full of snow. Anna & I covered the ironing board in bin bags & went tobogganing.. but I didn't think it would be very wise to take my camera, so you just get a few shots of
pridehouse.

I am now chilled through to the bone, wrapped in layers of blankets with hot chocolate and the 8th Doctor audio Neverland. Well actually I finished listening to that before starting to post. And now I've just found Zagreus. Oh gods I'm so excited about it, I can't wait. In fact I'm going to have to cut my snow-glee post short to go and start it right now.
Oh, wait, I wanted to:
Oh Donna, all is forgiven. For a curvy ginger companion who is not in love with the Doctor, there is a lot that I would have given. I'm sure that RTD's use of fat women should bother me more, though; have we ever been anything but Slitheen or cannon-fodder? And what a lovely, self-contained little plot. I am immediately intrigued by the return of the Shadow Proclamation; I think I had considered it, before, to be some kind of legislation, but now it's quite clearly an organisation. That's got to feature heavily in this series - maybe even have something to do with Rose? (Has anyone spotted the BadWolf yet?)
The car keys in the bin was a lovely touch. Somehow it expressed to me exactly how being with the Doctor is different to being in mundane Earth life. Oh, Doctor.
OK, I'm off to Tesco for drinking chocolate & soy milk, and then it's Zagreus time...
