So after yesterday's job interview (which I do not remember all of.. oh dear) I came home, lay down, called Ashley. I was feeling very odd, disconnected, fuzzy. I didn't feel tired at all - just really disoriented. In relation to previous life experience, I'd liken it most to being drunk or anaemic - but I wasn't either at the time. Just this feeling that the world is spinning and isn't-quite-real.

Then I woke up two hours later, phone in hand, glasses on face.

So now I am at home. London-home. Mainlining soup and porridge and anything else I can get past the golf balls in my throat.

I swear to god glandular fever, I have steel toe caps, and if you come ANYWHERE NEAR ME while I am revising for my finals, I will KICK YOUR HEAD IN.

Also, I messed up Nuffield because I was too disoriented to follow my thoughts through - super simple questions left me going "ummm" for ages because my thoughts fizzled out before they got anywhere. I will be better for the Social Sciences interview. And I will prepare so thoroughly that I can perform well at interview even if I'm not.

Ugh, nasty! *hugs from a distance* :p

In that case, you'll probably be glad to hear that I've had to cancel the Spring Fling, since if I go I'll almost certainly collapse from exhaustion in the first couple of weeks of term. I may well be coming to Oxford all the same, but I'll let you know :)

Ouch. :( Is it possible you've got the same viral thing I had about a fortnight ago? That seemed like glandular fever, except, er, it wasn't, which was nice.
