The band Borderville, who you may remember me ranting about last term, are starting to take the piss. They played in Oxford just after I'd left, and now they're playing in London just after I get back to Oxford. I will see them again - Port Mahon, February 1st - but still. I want the glam-prog beauty now, dammit! FFS, they have a keyboardist whose sole purpose is to provide "noise"! I really would advise you all to accompany me next month.
My college is also taking the piss. 6 hours of collections = no fun. Spreading those two hours of collections over two days, including MY BIRTHDAY (why do I always have collections on my birthday? last year it was a Friday, this year a Saturday, always exams), is just cruel.
ETA: Oh no. even better. They have now moved all my collections to my birthday. I don't finish exams until 5pm on my birthday. That's just lovely. Really it is. Especially when my parents can't bring my stuff up except, oh, Saturday afternoon? Six hours bent over a desk followed immediately by two hours lugging boxes. Oh no, I'm not going to go to bed with a screamingly painful back, am I?

Date: 2007-01-10 10:34 am (UTC)He played Hedwig in the first production I ever saw of it, and was pants-droppingly AMAZING. I wish you could've seen it! The Hedwig band reformed to play a May Ball last year that I went to, performing lots of their Hedwig stuff - made my night! The man's an absolute star.
