Dec. 8th, 2006 11:59 amI paraphrase because I can't remember exactly, but this is a quotation that amused me from the 7th Doctor arc "Battlefield" - at some indeterminate time not too far in the future, where England has a King and a £5 coin, an old friend of the 3rd & 4th Doctors comes out of retirement:
"I am Morgaine, destroyer of thirteen universes, bizarre arthurian sorcerer, warrior-queen of the sith, mighty beast of the eternal pit.."
"I am Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart. If you surrender now, there doesn't have to be any bloodshed."
Another wonderful thing about this plot arc is the hyper-androgynous female brigadier, played by the same actress who played Deb Lister in parallel universe. Red Dwarf / Doctor Who crossover.. just let me geekwhimper quietly in the corner, now.
It's nice to be back.
