sebastienneso my parents say "let's go to Bletchley Park". I'm all "yay! codebreakers! Turing! espionage! intrigue!".
and what are some of the things the place offers?
the American Garden Trail celebrates the links between the UK and the USA which started at Bletchley Park during the war and still continues today.
This truly fascinating collection of Churchill memorablia captures the spirit of the great man
I mean, yes. It is full of amazing old computers and machines and historically recreated things, but..
but "America's great! Churchill's great!", without, as far as I can see, any "oops, sorry we convicted you for "gross indecency", sentenced you to oestrogen injections, and made you kill yourself, mister Turing..."
