sebastienneso yesterday i went back to my old secondary school to talk to philosophy society. apparently, being an oxford philosophy student makes me an Inspirational Figure, or something. so obviously, i had to draw a graph on the board of increasing global temperature against declining number of pirates (to prove that causation) and lead a discussion about Flying Spaghetti Monsterism.
it was great fun, and some of the kids' witty & perceptive questions restored my faith in what i'd come to think of as a school of upper-middle-class brats with no redeeming features.
