Thanks to everyone who voted in my poll a few weeks ago: I've managed to get my top three options, which, in the end, were Personality and Psychological Disorders, Language Acquisition, and Emotion.

So, by this time next year, I'll have diagnosed myself with even more personality disorders (I've got my eye on Borderline and Antisocial), be unable to hold a conversation without automatically thinking about deep structure and grammatical transformations, and have analysed my own emotional life away in a puff of reductionist logic.

Hurrah! Will see you in Psych Dis. After a bit of emailing Azzopardi and Rogers, I got my top two as well - Psych Dis and Post-Genomic. All is looking good for next year and I look forward to diagnosing ourselves with all sorts of weird and wonderful things!

heh. I remember when I studied neuropharmacology and ended up diagnosing myself with an enormous list of disorders. Of course it clearly couldn't be true seeing as how I am such a well-balanced and normal individual :-)

But of course. And just because I fulfil pretty much all of the diagnostic criteria for Histrionic & Narcissistic personality disorders, it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with me...
