sebastienne...just call me Nanny.
yes, I got it, I'm to be playing Nanny Ogg in Wyrd Sisters next term. And the girls that I liked and thought I worked with well are cast as Magrat and Granny, and the girl I thought deserved the Duchess part got that, and everything's shiny.
Now I just need to work on the West Country accent... every time I feel myself falling into Welsh (yes, I did a Welsh Nanny Ogg at the auditions and I still got through!) I just need to think to myself, "Mister Frodo!" and it'll all be fine.
And on Friday there's a photo shoot in University Parks for the posters - "Nanny in something absolutely ridiculous with Cleavage" is my costume brief; do the think the director Knowest What She Does?
Am desperately tired, but also caffeinated and writing an essay. Just a half hour in the company of lovely OULES and RPGers has made me able to do this when I was a sleep-deprived gibbering wreck earlier. Sometimes I think that nobody really has a firm foundation, and actually we're all just holding one another up.
