almost filtered this; i've cut it instead.

last night i let go for the first time in years. instead of forcing myself to be strong i let myself be weak. i let go of the grip on myself which sometimes feels so tenuous and let someone else take up the slack. i gave myself up. it might seem like nothing but in my head, for a little while, it was everything. and that matters.
