I'm in Dublin with Lashings of Ginger Beer.
Our venue is the front room of a Georgian town-house, that the eccentric owner has turned into an occasional café. Modern bar furniture mixes with paintings and antiques - our Green Room is a storeroom of curios, including a signed poster from a production of An Ideal Husband in 1989.
Our poster has Oscar Wilde on, because he's part of the logo for the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival. Today I will probably go and look at the hideously ugly Oscar Wilde statue on Merrion Square - maybe it will be less... idk, smooshy?.. in the flesh.
This is going to be kind of awesome.
